So I was listening to "A Prarie Home Companion" yesterday morning and Garrison Keillor was an artist in Minnesota who had to have the dress and look of an artist. He tells the other person "...every way we artists can distinguish ourselves from accountants it's money in the bank." Anyway the show can be heard here. [link]
